Moss-draped Pacific Northwest old-growth forests feel like a cool, dark, natural cathedral. In the winter fog shrouds the forest and frost forms on branches and leaves in river valleys. An autumn sunset glows through bare branches and a forest byway meanders through backlit bigleaf maples.
