Frost-covered Alder Saplings

Photographer's comment:

The frost on these trees made the bare branches sparkle like an ice palace on this crisp January morning. Some of the fallen tree trunks along the river were covered in so much frost it looked like snow, and I even found footprints from a coyote or fox which had walked across on the frosty log.
