Entrance GateThis delightful gate with pergola is one of several I photographed after receiving a call from a magazine photo editor looking for images of hand-made wooden gates. I tracked down David Helm, a Bellingham carpenter who specializes in building gates and went out to photograph examples of his work. The magazine selected another of the images I submitted, but several gates from this series have appeared in garden books and magazines. |
