Tulips and Daffodils

Washington's Skagit valley comes brilliantly alive each spring with acres and acres of daffodils and tulips grown for the cut flower and bulb markets. Some of the major growers have developed extensive display gardens to show off all of the varieties they grow and sell. These gardens are popular tourist destinations, attracting people by the busload in late March and April each year. I photographed these daffodils and tulips at Roozengaarde, the display garden of Washington Bulb Company.
