Winter Garden Sampler
Here along Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest we typically experience mild winters. Heavy snow and extreme cold are rare. The earliest shrubs and flowers begin blooming in late January. Some heathers and camellias begin blooming before Christmas, providing some color all winter long. All of these images were made between New Year's and the end of March.
