Badger Mountain is the hill immediately south of Richland and Kennewick, Washington. There are two main trails, one that switchbacks up the north slope, and a more gentle trail that goes up the west end. Both gain about 800' from trailhead to ridgetop. These photos were made along the western trail during a wildflower photography workshop I led for the Washington Native Plant Society and Richland City Parks. There is a Friends of Badger Mountain group that has been working to preserve this natural area and improve trail access.
