Giant Sequoia with SnowThis Giant Sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum, dwarfs the other conifers in Yosemite National Park's Tuolumne Grove. There was a light dusting of fresh snow on the trees the morning I hiked down to the grove. The tree trunk on the left, covered in light green lichen, is a Douglas Fir.
