Viewing and Purchasing
Your Family Portraits
A single projection preview session will be scheduled in our Fairhaven studio about a week after your photography for viewing your selections. Your purchasing decision will be made at that appointment, so be sure to bring your family and any other decision makers. Mark will guide you to the appropriate design and framing to complement your art piece. Fees will be assessed for additional preview sessions and orders placed thereafter. Prices are subject to change at any time.
Investment
Your portrait session is $200, which includes the photographer’s time, talent, travel within Whatcom County, and materials. You can invest as much or as little as you would like in prints, from large wall portraits down to desktop-size prints. Wall portraits are a lifetime investment in your family’s memories, an important focal point in your home. All portraits are à la carte and prices depend upon size and finish. Most families end up investing between $1000 and $1500 in their portraits.
Retouching
Our portraits include basic retouching to minimize blemishes and correct many eyeglass reflections. We take a subtle approach to retouching so it isn’t obvious that anything has been done. If there is something in particular you'd like retouched, please tell us when you select your poses during your viewing and purchasing session. Black and white or sepia conversions are available.
Payment and Delivery
Your Session Fee is due at the time your appointment is booked. All orders are paid in full before being released to our lab for printing and finishing. Delivery time may vary depending on the finishing of your photography but in most cases we can have your finished portraits ready in about two weeks from the time you place your order. We accept your Whatcom County check, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards. If you'd like we can arrange a payment plan. Just ask.
Studio Location
The Turner Photographics studio is in Suite 205 in Finnegan's Alley, 1106 Harris Avenue in Fairhaven. Note that we’re only there when a session is scheduled. The elevator is on your right as you enter the building from Harris. Come up to the second floor, turn left off the elevator and come around the corner to the studio. We’ll give you our mobile phone number when you schedule your viewing and purchasing appointment in case you have trouble finding the studio. We're across the street from Dos Padres restaurant and upstairs above Wild Blueberries children's boutique.
