Speak Out on Iraq

48-star US Flag

People around the world are speaking out, gathering together to protest and to say what they think about a possible war in Iraq.

More than 10 million people came together on February 15, 2003 to protest the war effort, including these in Bellingham. Those of us who live in the USA are fortunate to be able to speak up, regardless of our opinions.

Make your voice count. Send your message to President Bush by fax to 202-456-2461 or email president@whitehouse.gov. Send a copy to your Senators and Representative, too if you're a US citizen. Find their fax and e-mail addresses at the Senate and House web sites.

Click on the thumbnails to see a larger version of each picture. Not everyone here agrees that war is the wrong choice, just most people. To connect with other Bellingham peace activists, visit Northwest Citizen.
